I got my road trip last weekend!!!! To my surprise My Hubby wanted to go the Prineville Rock Show on Sunday after working 6 long days last week. We were on the road early Sunday morning and took the scenic route going and coming. The weather was perfect, we left rainy Portland and enjoyed the SUNSHINE on the east side of the Cascades. Oh how we enjoyed soaking up that vitamin D!!!!
Here are some of the sights we took in. Oh, I did buy some new cabochons too.
Our first stop was the Warm Springs fish hatchery to stretch our legs and enjoy the vitamin D.

We spotted a small group of Rocky Mt Elk on our way home. Can you see the size of his antlers?
There were several big bulls in this group.
