This ring is ready to go to it's new home. I am very happy with the way it turned out and as always it is fun to design with Susie. Thanks Susie!!!

She is a very talented artist.

I just love this time of year when everything is new and fresh. Near my office is tree that starts out in the early spring with copper colored leaves that turn green. They are beautiful in the fall when the once again turn copper. I may try heat color copper earrings for fall! I just love what the torch does to copper. I have a Holley Blue and White Moonstone necklace to post tomorrow, it is a special order for a new customer. Thanks Everyone for your support!!

New pictures of Lost on the Prarie
New White Crazy Lace Earrings
I finished these beauties at Midnight last night and then stayed awake planning another piece of jewelry. The last time I looked at the clock it was 3:30am and then it was time to get up at 5:30am. I hate it when that happens, it makes for a long day at my day job. Anyway, I think these earring turned out just beautiful! The cabs have lots of pattern and are accented with a deep patina on the silver. These cabs were brought back from Tucson by the owners of Bead Bullies. I just loved looking through all the pretties they brought back. Hopefully these earrings with be on Etsy this evening.

Lost on the Prarie Pin
This is the stone my hubby picked out during our visit to Bead Bullies! He explained the design he had in mind and I fabricated that design. The stone is a deeper blue that my camera could pick up in the house. He is happy with his new pin! I think I'll be wearing it more than he will, but it is masculine enough that either of us could wear it on our coat or hat. I am planning on spending tomorrow in the studio and working on taxes. Have a great weekend!

I hate it when this happens!!!!
I just hate it when I drop a hot piece on the floor!!!!!. Someday the hardwood floors will have to be resurfaced. This is a little copper brooch I finished Saturday evening. It's about 1 1/2" diam. I look pretty nice on my black sweater. I will have some new pieces to show you later in the week.

Saturday in the Studio
I made a few things in the studio today, but I am ready for bed already (7:30pm). I made a pair of earrings to match my girlfriend's bracelet. They will be package and mailed tomorrow. The turquoise pieces below are mine. I made the pendent and ring today, the earrings were made last summer. My hubby brings gifts of stone. :) He gave me the earring pieces just because and I found the other 2 pieces in my Christmas Stocking last December. They are from the Old Man Mine. He does spoil me!
Head Cold
It's been a very busy week at my day job, and now I have a head cold errrr. After a late breakfast/early lunch, I'm off to work in the studio. Maybe playing with my "toys" will make me feel better. Here a couple of pictures I took last year at our Sunday Farmers Market in down town Milwaukie, OR. It is alway a fun place to shop and people watch. Have great day everyone!
