Friday!!! Sun brakes today!!!!! Sunshine for the holiday weekend!!! Life is good here in the Pacific North West!!! There is nothing prettier than a sunny weekend!

Please take the time this weekend to remember our Veterans. My girlfriend's husband will be leaving next week for his 2nd tour, I have had the honor of thanking him for his service. If you have the opportunity please thank a Vet.

Still Waiting for the Sun to Shine!!!

I hear that there were some breaks in the rain today. But I missed them!! My day job office, has no window and it was drizzling on my way home today. It spitting when I took pictures of my latest piece this afternoon. Can you see the rain drop? I had already wiped the piece dry twice. Sunshine will you please come back soon!

Sunshine where are you???

I am so ready for some sunshine!!! We are having one of the rainiest springs on record here in the Portland, Oregon area. The grass needs mowing but it has rained for who knows how long. Our dog is a miniature pincher and she hates getting her feet wet but now even her belly is getting wet. Sunshine come back!!!!!! Got to get that lawn mowed before we loose our dog in the backyard.

Here is my latest piece, I finished it early this morning. 2:30am Good thing today is Saturday and a none work day!!!!

I finished this piece just as the rain started. Outside quickly to get some pictures, and just in time, as the sky open up and it poured, just I finished snapping pictures.

Finally, have my camera figured out an my photos are in focus! Yeah!!! Off to the studio for some more hammering!

If all else fails

I have been unhappy with my Etsy photos of late so.....if all else fails read the instructions!! I dug out the user guide to my camera and gave it a read late last night. Great way to fall asleep. This morning I grabbed a few of my personal pieces and went outside to try my new settings. Looking better, I hope.

It's going to be a beautiful weekend here in the Pacific North West. I intend to be out enjoying it!

What we've been doing all weekend

We've been puppy sitting this weekend. She's very sweet when she is a sleep. Our 8 1/2 yrs Min Pin is not too happy with a 3 1/2 month old puppy with no manners! Trixie keeps telling her she is not a play toy. I'm sure Meeka with get it soon.

My hubby and I made a quick trip to Portland this morning and went through the CMAG show and sale. If you are in or near Portland this weekend stop by and check things out.
