Where did the weekend go??

Boy, did this weekend fly by!!

The weather was beautiful here in the Great Pacific Northwest! Saturday, I closed the door on My Wife's Studio, and went outside to enjoy the sunshine. While walking around our yard, I found lots of flowers starting to pop through the ground!! Spring flowers are on their way!

After enjoying the sun on Saturday I went back to the studio refreshed and created these 3 pieces.

What a fantastic weekend!!

Have a great Sunday evening!

Productive Evening

I've been working on this pendent for some time, I managed to get it finished tonight. It a large 60mm x 40mm Koroit Opal finished on both sides. So of course I had to show both sides. A big thanks to my sister THANKS for providing the pearl. I'll try to get some pictures outside tomorrow. This stone is amazing in the sunlight.

Love how the czech glass cabs look in these earrings. I'm sure they would photo better outside too.

Well, it's almost Monday here in the Great Pacific Northwest, better turn in.

Have a great Monday everyone!!

Shopping Saturday

What a great Saturday! I got to spend the day shopping for stone and other fun things with my hubby and someone very special to us. That someone is my husbands cousin, my matron of honor, and if you a regular reader of my blog she is also the Nana of my Christmas Angels. By the way she is also an incredible seamstress, the Angels are wearing dresses their Nana made.
We took her to her first gem and bead show today, she was like a kid in the candy store. We all had a wonderful time shopping, talking and just being together. Sam, thanks for spending the day with us! Let's do it again, soon!!!
After the show we stopped at one of my favorite shops Bead Bullies in Tigard, Oregon. The owner Kari is wonderful! While hubby and Sam were exploring, she was showing me boxes and boxes of vintage Czech glass cabochons. So, of course I just had to get a few for myself. If you get the chance to visit Bead Bullies I promise you won't be disappointed!

These cabochons are some of my gem show finds. I am looking forward to spending Sunday in the studio!!

What a Saturday!

Hope everyone had a great Saturday!
Ours was interesting.

After returning home from grocery shopping, I found a wonderful surprise. I had sold 5 items on my Etsy site!!! Even better I had reached the 100 mark in items sold. I was surprised and excited!

Saturday evening while I was in the studio working on the pieces above, Trixie had another seizure. She hasn't had one in over a year, and I was hoping I had seen the last of them. After about 10min of holding her and talking to her, she was back to her silly self. I don't who these are harder on her or us. She then spent the rest of the evening snuggled in her Dad's lap, which always makes for a happy dog.

It's now Sunday morning here in the great Pacific NorthWest, guess I'll turn in.

Have a peaceful Sunday!

Playing with My New Toy

I bought myself a fun new tool for Christmas, a Pepe Jump ring Maker. Oh, what fun, winding and cutting with my flex shaft! I should have bought one of these a long time ago. I made this copper and turquoise bracelet today with the help of my Jump ring Maker. A little more clean up and the bracelet will be ready for the shop! Back to the studio! Have a great Monday!!!

I could just get lost in this landscape. We picked this cabochon up on our road trip last fall. One of many pieces I drool over at Golden Arts in Lewiston, Idaho.
