Over the weekend I was outside checking to see if any of our flowers have survived our very wet spring. Sorry to say the irises and peonies did not. Neither did my hubbies poppies. But some of my lilies are blooming and the honeysuckle has buds. And there are apples on one of the apple trees! Mmm apple pie this fall. To celebrate the sweet smell of honeysuckle to come I made these brass earrings. Yes, it is still wet in my backyard, but the lawn is mowed and the forecast is showing SUN this weekend. 
These roses are from the garden of our good friends. Sadly this is the last bouquet I'll receive from this garden as our friends have moved to their new home in another city. I have had many lovely bouquets from their rose garden over the years. Thank you!!
