Picture from the last day of our roadtrip

Hi Everyone! Ready for the last day of my big adventure?
On Saturday Mom and Dad got a rock hounding map from Elkin's Gem Stones in Prineville. So on Sunday we got an early start and went out exploring.
Our first stop was Blue Ridge Mine. As you can see from Mom's pictures the mine has been abandoned for some time. It smelled very interesting, Dad thought there was too much broken glass on the floor for me to do any exploring. Mom and I just looked inside.
Next we were off to Big Summit Prairie. Along the way we noticed people harvesting pine cones. There were bags and bags of them piled up along the road. There were also lots of cows!!!!! I just love barking at cows. I haven't figured out how to make them run away yet. But barking at them is lots of fun!
When we finally got to Big Summit Prairie it was in full bloom, and we could not keep Mom in the truck. She was out with her camera taking lots of pictures of flowers. I just thought it would be a fun places to run and run and run, but they would not take my leash off.
Then back in the truck and back to Prineville for ice cream at the Tasty Freeze. Dad bought chocolate ice cream so we could not share. I am addicted to chocolate big time! I will find it if it is in the house, so Mom works very hard at keeping it from me. I've had to go to the doctor 2 times because I've eaten too much chocolate. You'd think I'd learn, but I am a dog. Mom thought of me and bought vanilla ice cream so we could share. Yummy!!!
After all that ice cream it was time to head home. We all had a very fun time on our adventure, but it was nice to sleep in my own bed.
I heard Mom talking about a trip up the Columbia River Gorge. I am ready...Let's Go!!!!!!!
Bye for now, Trixie

Mmm ice cream
